PV Module and Inverter AC/DC Ratio Limitation
Is there any option to put a AC/DC Ratio Limitation on the Photovoltaic System?
HOMER keeps on suggesting me to put 1,5 MWp PV and 600 kWp Inverter. This condition IMHO is not good for the inverter and the pv module themselves because the excess energy will become heat, and it might become problematic.
Is there any way to limit these?
That is a level of detail HOMER does not delve into.
It is up to the user to take those decisions while entering values in the search space for the PV and the inverter. The only option might be to force the inverter size to what you think is most compatible to your PV system, thereby forcing the dispatch to pick that inverter size.
Hope this helps!
