Critical and non-critical loads

It is common for critical loads to have a different interruption cost than non-critical loads.

Is it possible to create a different loss of load penalty for Electric Load # 1 and Electric Load # 2?

Hi Gabriel,

If you are using the advanced grid module, and you are using Reliability section of the scheduled/real time rates, you have an option to :

"Turn off Electric Load #2 when the grid is off"

If you check this, and you also have a capacity shortage penalty, then you will be able to have a penalty for non-critical loads.

I hope this workaround makes sense.

Hi Aarabi! Thank you for your answer!

I noticed this workaround but it is not suitable since it turns off all the load#2 and load#1 still has the same penalty.
